El presente proyecto solicita apoyo para la realización de fichas diagnósticas para 10 especies de anfibios y reptiles incluidas en el proyecto de Norma Oficial Mexicana PROY-NOM-059-ECOL-2000. El conocimiento que se genere a través de este proyecto ayudará a verificar si la clasificación de éstas especies dentro del PROY-NOM.059-ECOL-2000 es la correcta en las categorías en peligro de extinción o amenazada o fuera de ellas, o si se deben incluir o excluir de estas categorías.
