Project Data
Se realizará un estudio detallado de la información existente en los bancos de germoplasma del Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales, Agrícolas y Pecuarias (INIFAP) y del Centro Internacional de Mejoramiento de Maíz y Trigo (CIMMYT) sobre los maíces criollos de Oaxaca. Se recopilará la información de pasaporte, razas, distribución y localización de los materiales para obtener una base de datos actualizada de la riqueza genética del maíz. Se elaboraran mapas de distribución real y potencial de las colectas existentes y se colectarán muestras de maíz criollo en una zona poco explorada ubicada en la zona del Papaloapan. En las principales razas de maíz se realizará un análisis de calidad industrial.
