Project Data
40 especies del Phylum rotífera (Rotifera:Monogononta) del Estado de México y Distrito Federal (Región Central de México), fueron fijadas con alcohol absoluto para la extracción de ADN y algunas especies serán cultivadas en el laboratorio para obtener poblaciones clonales. Se extraerá el ADN y se amplificará un fragmento de aproximadamente 680 pb correspondiente al gen mitocondrial que codifica la Citocromo Oxidasa Subunidad I para obtener el código de barras de secuencias de las especies mexicanas del Phylum rotífera, los cuales se incorporarán a la Base de Datos del proyecto BOL. De las especies seleccionadas se obtendrán microfotografías las cuales serán incluidas en la base de datos BOLD, y también serán incorporadas al acervo del Banco de Imágenes de la CONABIO.
