Este proyecto es uno de los dos que se recibieron en respuesta a la convocatoria específica para realizar estudios sobre Ara militaris en la Reserva de la Biósfera Tehuacán-Cuicatlán y se centró en estudiar la reproducción de la guacamaya verde, analizar las posibles amenazas y estudiar la dinámica poblacional en las zonas donde existe mas concentración de guacamayas verdes.
